Biological products

Biological products cover materials of living origin or derived from it, such as research and diagnostic samples, reagents, cultures, blood derivatives and biotechnology inputs.

They are high-value cargo, small in volume and low in tolerance: many require refrigeration between 2°C and 8°C, and some need ultra-low temperature. When the thermal solution uses dry ice, that changes the conditions applying to the shipment and must be reported by the shipper before space is booked.
