Vegetable oils

Vegetable oils are oils extracted from seeds, grains and fruits such as soy, sunflower, palm and canola, destined for food or industrial use.

They are high-volume shipments with narrow margins, which makes logistics cost weigh directly on the final price. Temperature cuts both ways: prolonged heat accelerates oxidation and alters flavour and acidity, while excessive cold makes some oils partially solidify, complicating discharge at destination.
