Liquid cargo differs from the rest in one simple detail: it moves inside its packaging. That movement puts stress on the walls of the container and on the securing throughout the journey, which is why the choice of packaging weighs as much as the commodity itself.

Smaller quantities travel in drums or palletised jerricans, intermediate volumes in IBCs, and larger loads in a container with a flexitank or in a tank container, each option with its own requirements for cleaning, certification and compatibility with the product.
